At 11:18 am on February 19, 2025, the Chengdu Culture, Art and Technology City (Sichuan University of Culture and Arts Chengdu Campus) project was officially launched in Mengyang Street, Pengzhou City, Chengdu. At the foundation-laying ceremony, Zuo Dongmei, the provincial government's special supervisor and the school's party committee secretary, reviewed the school's 24-year struggle history with deep emotion in her speech. From the initial hundred-acre garden-style campus to the current collaborative development pattern of Mianyang, Zitong, Chengdu "three-campus-and-base", the school has always adhered to the educational purpose of "enlightening thoughts, inheriting culture, innovating technology, and serving society", and has always adhered to the original mission of cultivating people for the party and the country. She emphasized: "The construction of the Chengdu campus is the core measure of the school's active response to the national strategies of "cultural power", "technological power" and "educational power", and it is also an active responsibility to serve the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing dual-city economic circle and promote the innovative development of excellent traditional Chinese culture."

Zuo Dongmei said that the Chengdu campus of Sichuan University of Culture and Arts, Chengdu Campus will follow the overall development idea of "future art and science, cross-boundary integration, and ecological digital intelligence", and take "openness, integration, innovation, and leadership" as the core concept.
