Chinese Arts and Crafts Master Pei Yongzhong and Delegation Visit School for Exchange and Discussion

Recently, Pei Yongzhong, an outstanding representative in the field of ceramic art and master of Chinese arts and crafts, was invited to visit SUCA for exchange. The purpose of this visit is to explore new paths for the integrated development of art education and the arts and crafts industry, and to strengthen cooperation and exchange between both parties. The president of SUCA, Gong Zhenxu, accompanied the visit.

Pei Yongzhong and his delegation toured the Chengdu Culture and Art Science and Technology City (Chengdu Campus), Mianyang Campus, and Zitong Campus, gaining an comprehensively understanding of the  teaching environment and resources of SUCA.

During the exchange, president Gong Zhenxu extended a warm welcome to Master Pei Yongzhong and his delegation, and provided a detailed introduction to the development history, educational philosophy, and achievements in cultural and artistic education of SUCA. He emphasized that SUCA has always been committed to inheriting and promoting the excellent traditional culture of China, and hopes to strengthen cooperation with masters like Pei Yongzhong to jointly promote the development and innovation of traditional ceramic art.

Master Pei Yongzhong expressed his gratitude for the enthusiastic reception by SCUA and highly praised the achievements and contributions it has made in the field of education in recent years. He also shared his creative experiences and insights in the field of ceramic art, especially the creative process of Porcelain Painting of the Dream of the Red Chamber, showcasing the unique charm and profound cultural heritage of ceramic art. Pei Yongzhong stated his willingness to engage in in-depth cooperation with SUCA to jointly cultivate talents in ceramic art and promote the inheritance and development of traditional ceramic culture.

Through this interaction, both parties have not only gained the valuable experience and insights, but also boosted the cooperation and exchange. Both parties involved in the cooperation expressed their intention to further strengthen collaboration in the field of arts and crafts, to jointly promote the deep integration of art education and industry development, and to contribute to the cultivation of more outstanding talents in arts and crafts and the promotion of China's excellent traditional culture.

The heads of the School Council Office, Principal's Office, Chengdu Culture, Art, and Science and Technology City (Chengdu Campus) Management Committee, Mianyang Campus Management Committee, and Zitong Campus Management Committee, among other departments, participated in this research.
