Faculty of Sichuan University of Culture and Arts Attended 44th Sichuan-Chongqing "Campus Spring" Opening and Concert

The opening ceremony and youth concert of the 44th Sichuan-Chongqing "Campus Spring" Cultural, Artistic, Sports, and Technological Activities were held at the Sports Center Gymnasium in Hechuan District, Chongqing, on March 22. Deputy Director Deng Yanrui from the Faculty Development Center of Sichuan University of Culture and Arts led a team to attend.

The program submitted by our university featured the "Ghost Vocal Band," composed of five young teachers from the School of Music and Dance's Department of Popular Music: He Yukun, Tang Qi, Leng Xianggang, Jiang Liqiao, and Xiang Xiao. Their performance of "Mojito" received widespread acclaim!

The event attracted over 4,800 on-site participants, including members of the public, with live streams drawing more than 200,000 viewers. Centered around Chongqing's urban spirit of "resilience, loyalty, bravery, and pioneering," the opening ceremony featured artistic performances by representatives from 21 universities in Sichuan and Chongqing, showcasing the vibrant youthfulness of teachers and students in the new era.

Launched in 1982, the "Campus Spring" Cultural, Artistic, Sports, and Technological Activities have been jointly organized by Sichuan and Chongqing since the 41st edition in 2022, significantly enhancing their brand influence. The initiative has been praised by the Ministry of Education and the Communist Youth League Central Committee as "a vibrant youth flower blooming in Southwest China."

This year’s activities, set to continue until October, will introduce 10 innovative competitions, including the Sichuan-Chongqing Campus Micro-Class Contest, a university student half-marathon, and a public welfare online host competition.
