On June 19th, 2025, the establishment ceremony of the Laos Branch and Morocco Branch of the Alumni Association of International Students of Sichuan University of Culture and Arts was grandly held in the conference room of CICC.

The Secretary-General of the Alumni Association and Vice President Zhang Dahang, along with relevant leaders of the CICC, foreign affairs specialists, and the main members of the Laos Branch and Morocco Branch, gathered together to witness this important moment.

The ceremony was presided over by the Deputy Secretary-General of the Alumni Association, the Director of the Student Affairs Department, and the Secretary of the University Youth League Committee, Li Yi.

At the beginning of the meeting, the host introduced the attending leaders one by one to the participants, formally kicking off the event. Subsequently, Dean Zhong Xinchun of the International Exchange College and Director of the Foreign Affairs Office announced the appointment and removal documents, clarifying the job assignments of the members of the Laos Branch and Morocco Branch. This move laid a solid organizational foundation for the subsequent work of the branches.

Amidst a warm atmosphere, the meeting transitioned to the certificate-awarding segment. Leaders presented certificates to members of the Laos and Morocco branches, signifying the school's trust and expectations. These certificates also symbolize the members' commitment to serve alumni and contribute to the school's development. The presidents of the two branches expressed their gratitude to the school and pledged to build strong connections among alumni and between alumni and the school.

The flag presentation marked the highlight of the event. Vice President Zhang Dahan handed over flags to the two branches. The flags represent the close ties between the school and its international alumni and signify the branches' important role in the future.

In his speech, Vice President Zhang Dahan congratulated the newly established branches and commended the positive impact of international alumni. He hoped the branches would organize activities to enhance alumni cohesion and encouraged alumni to excel in their fields, offer valuable suggestions for the school's development, and contribute to cultural exchanges between China and other countries.
